8 sentenced to rigorous imprisonment

Patna, May 28 (UNI) A fast track court here today awarded five years rigorous imprisonment each to eight people in an abduction case.

Judge K M Srivastav found Nageshwar Singh (75) along with his siblings guilty of abducting two people of a nearby village.

According to the prosecution, Vinod Singh alias Narendra Singh and Kaushalendra Kumar alias Pappu of Saguni village under Masaurhi police station area of Patna were abducted by the convicts at gun point following some land dispute at Gopalpur Tinari village under same police station on February 10, 2003.
