2 killed, 6 injured in road accident

Hamirpur, May 28 (UNI) At least two persons were killed and six other injured after the truck they were travelling in overturned in Sumerpur area here today.

The incident took place in Modha town, when the front tyre of vehicle burst. The truck overturned as the driver lost control.

The pilgrims to the Urs, who were on the vehicle, became the victims, police said.

Shakeel and Kallu died on the spot. The injured had been admitted to hospital.
