Young heroes drown while saving another boy

Jaunpur, May 27 (UNI) Two children drowned in river Basuhi here while trying to save another boy.

Police today said about half-a-dozen children of Shekhupur village had gone to take a bath in Abdulla ghat of Basuhi river yesterday, when two of them drowned in an effort to save a deaf boy.

While Amjad (15) was saved, two others, identified as Vasif Ali (12) and Shahrukh (13), drowned while carrying out their valiant effort.

Their bodies were fished out by the villagers.
