Agartala, May 27 (UNI) A report of the National Centre Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF) predicts light to medium rain at a few places over Northeast in the coming week.

The prediction states that onset of monsoon in NE states is likely to be within next 3 to 4 days.

Wind speed is expected to rise with the south westerly wind with an average of five to six meter per hour. The day and night temperature is expected to remain unchanged and may vary from 32 to 34 and 23 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively.

According to the report, south west monsoon, which set over Andaman Sea and south-west Bay of Bengal on May 10, a week earlier than normal, is slowly organising back after the disruption of entire monsoon flow by the cyclonic storm formed over east central Bay of Bengal and crossed Bangladesh coast on May 15.
