Rs 30 lakh property gutted in fire

Shimla, May 27 (UNI) A devastating fire in a carton factory destroyed property worth Rs 30 lakh at Nalagarh in Solan district on Friday night, police today said.

According to the police, fire tenders from Solan and Nalagarh were rushed to Manpura village where the factory was located. It took almost three hours to bring the raging flames under control.

The cause of the fire was believed to be short circuiting of electric wires.
