Rival Dalit groups clash over eve teasing, six hurt

Varanasi, May 27 (UNI) At least six persons were hurt when rival groups of Dalits clashed in the Sigra area here today over eve teasing.

The incident took place at the slum dwellings in Maldahiya area under Sigra police station when a youth attacked the rival group with stones for indulging in eve teasing, police said.

Six people were injured in the clash who were later admitted to the hospital.

The police have detained five youth from both the sides.

A probe was on.
