Hyderabad, May 27 (UNI) BJP state president B Dattatraya today demanded that the Andhra Pradesh government come out with an Action Taken Report (ATR) on the implementation of 610 GO, providing for government jobs to local people in the backward Telangana region.

Addressing mediapersons here, he alleged that the government had failed to implement the 610 GO and creating confusion among the employees by not taking concrete steps to repatriate the non-locals.

Asking the government to convene an all-party meeting on 610 GO, he said the government had violated the 'Presidential Orders' by constituting 'Hyderabad city cadre' replacing the seventh zone.

This showed the sincerity of the government in the implementation of the GO, he said.

On the government's move to set up 'Odissy Science city' in Anantapur district, Mr Dattatraya demanded that the government announce special package for farmers whose agricultural lands would be taken and Rs 10 lakh be paid for each acre of land acquired. Alleging that the govenment was encouraging real estate business in the state rather than promoting development activities, he urged the government to protect the land of the farmers at the proposed Outer Ring Road (ORR) in the city.
