Relatives blame hosp for patient's death

Kolhapur, May 27 (UNI) Relatives of a patient who died at a civil hospital here are blaming the doctors for his death.

Relatives of deceased Shrikant Deo Dhule (60) of Kasaba Sangaon village in the district, alleged that the patient died due to negligence of the doctors on duty in the hospital.

Dhule was admitted to the civil hospital today after the complained of lung problems. However, he passed away later during the day.

When the news of his death reached his village, villagers arrived in two trucks at the hospital and lodged their protest at the hospital.

Civil Surgeon Dr Yadav, who met the agitating people, assured them that he would conduct an inquiry into the matter and initiate action against the guilty.
