Minor raped by 'tantrik'

Raisen, MP, May 27 (UNI) A 17-year-old girl was abducted and raped by a 'tantrik', who was treating the epilepsy patient through his ''supernatural powers'', police said today.

Panda Baba alias Raudra Singh, who reportedly cured patients of their diseases with the help of 'tantras' and 'mantras' at a religious spot on every 'Amavasya', was arrested today.

Since the past seven months, the girl was being taken to the Baba by her relatives for treatment of epilepsy. However, she was abducted by him about 15 days back. The girl was sexually assaulted during the period.

The girl's relatives traced the accused and handed him over to police. The girl is now with her relatives.
