JPCC observes Nehru's death anniversary
Jamshedpur, May 27 (UNI) Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee today paid floral tributes to the country's first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his 43rd anniversary of death.
At a function held here, JPCC general secretary Rajesh Kumar Shukla and other senior Congress leaders paid homage to the 'architect of modern India'.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shukla highlighted the multi-faceted' personality of Pandit Nehru and said he was considered as a frontline international leader, who led the non-aligned movement successfully.
East Singhbhum Congress Committee also paid homage to Pandit Nehru at district Congress office at Tilak Pustakalaya here. District Congress president Ravindra Kumar Jha and Congressmen garlanded a portrait of Nehru UNI
