JIPMER Entrance exam held
Puducherry, May 27 (UNI) As many as 26,000 candidates appeared for the entrance examination for admission to first year MBBS at the Centrally-administered JIPMER here.
A total of 3,866 candidates appeared for the examination in six centres in Puducherry alone while the examination was being held in Chennai,Delhi,Kolkota and Thiruvananthapuram.
The results would be published in a fortnight,official sources said.
Though the intake for the first year MBBS course in JIPMER was 75,the entrance examination was being conducted to fill up 46 seats only.
The remaining 29 seats would be filled up through all India competitive examinations conducted by the CBSE and through nominations by the centre.
