Infiltration bid foiled in Kashmir; two intruders killed

Baramulla, May 27 (UNI) Troops foiled yet another infiltration bid by militants from across the Line of Control (LoC) when they killed two intruders in north Kashmir's border district of Kupwara today.

Official sources said troops noticed suspicious movement near Ustad Post along the LoC in Kupwara district this morning.

When challenged, the intruders opened fire on the troops. The fire was effectively retaliated, they added.

In the ensuing gun-battle, two infiltrators were killed, the sources added.
