Dalit's wife married to another man

Satna, MP, May 27 (UNI) A dalit youth residing in the district's Migrauti village has alleged that his wife was married off to another man during a mass wedding organised under the Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana.

Harilal Sanket lodged a complaint yesterday at an SC/ST Police Station. The complaint said Sanket was away from home for work this February when Latagaon Sarpanch Mohan married off Chandravati to Chhatarpur district's Bablu on February 26 at Maihar.

The youth urged that a criminal case be lodged against Mohan and the Maihar District Panchayat's Chief Executive Officer.
