890 nurses appointed in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, May 27: As many as 890 staff nurses were appointed by the Madhya Pradesh government over the past two months to make better services available in faraway rural areas, official sources said.

The break-up was general category 266, SC 190, ST 168 and OBC 266. They were trained at 11 general training centres.

The government sanctioned 914 general nursing posts for 48 district hospitals, 54 urban medical camps, 270 community health centres and 1,139 primary health centres.
