3 girls killed as mound collapses

Ferozabad, May 27 (UNI) At least three girl child labourers were killed and four others seriously injured after a portion of earth caved-in here.

The incident took place in Sirsa Khas village of Sirsaganj area, where eight children got trapped in the debris last night, police today said.

The injured were rushed to the hospital, where two were declared brought dead. Later, another critically wounded girl was rushed to Agra for treatment, where she succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, the concerned Gram Pradhan has been suspended.
