Masjid blast: One suspect arrested in Maharashtra
Hyderabad, May 25: The Maharashtra Police today handed over one person, suspected to have helped in procuring the RDX for making bombs used in Mecca Masjid blast on May 18, to the Andhra Pradesh police.
Police said Soyab Jagirdar was arrested by the Maharashtra police from his residence at Jalna town yesterday.
He was handed over to a special investigation police team from Andhra Pradesh, which had gone to Jalna on a specific tip-off about the suspect, who allegedly helped to procure RDX.
The state police would bring Soyab here and interrogate him in connection with the blast.
