Madhya Pradesh: Forest officers transferred

Bhopal, May 25: In a minor reshuffle in the Forest department, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred six Indian Forest Service Officers, official sources said today.

Conservator of Forest A K Jain, at present posted on deputation in the Narmada Valley Development Authority(NVDA) at Bhopal, has been promoted and posted as Member-Secretary in the Bio-Diversity Board.

Mr A K Singh, presently posted in the Bio-Diversity Board, has been posted as Chief Conservator of Forest in the state capital, while Mr L K Sood, CCF, Indore, has been sent on deputation to NVDA at Bhopal.

Mr Vibhash Kumar Thakur, Divisional Forest Officer, Dhar, is being sent on deputation to the M P Khadi Gramodyog Board for appointment as Project Coordinator of Vindhya Valley Herbal Project at Bhopal.

Mr V S Annigeri, DFO, Indore, has been given the additional charge of DFO, Dhar.

Meanwhile, Mr S N Nachane, Principal, Forest Rangers College, Balaghat, has been transferred to the state headquarters as Conservator of Forest, while Mr P A Jadhav, at present posted at the State Forest Research Institute, Jabalpur, has been shifted to Balaghat to take over charge of the Rangers College, official sources said.
