Two die after falling from trains in Punjab

Phagwara, May 24 (UNI) Three persons including a woman, were killed in different road and rail accidents in and around the town since last night, police today stated.

According to the reports received here two persons were killed after falling from trains while the third died in a road accident.

A woman, identified as Usha Aggarwal, was killed on the spot when the car in which she was returning from Jalandhar dashed against a tree. She was the wife of RSS activist Chander Aggarwal. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.

In the second incident a Bihari migrant labourer identified as Abdul Razak(50) was crushed under the wheels of the 2477UP Superfast Express near the railway station. The victim apparently fell from the train.

In another incident, an unidentified youth died after falling from the Delhi bound Madras Mail near Khajurala railway crossing at Phagwara-Jalandhar rail section.
