Trade worth Rs 2,859 crore transacted on NCDEX

Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) As many as 3,059 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) today participated in trades worth Rs 2,859 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs.

There were more than 100,079 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in pepper, jeera, guarseeds, chana soya oil and sugar, an NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, 584 members had participated in trading and put through more than 113,226 trades. The trade volume for the whole day till 2330 hrs was Rs 3,433 crore (one way).

Active trades were high in pepper, jeera, guarseeds, gold, chana and soya oil among others, the release added.
