Russia mine blast toll rises to 32

MOSCOW, May 24 (Reuters) The death toll from a methane blast at a Siberian coal mine has risen to 32 with six people still missing, a spokesman for Russia's Emergencies Ministry said.

Rescue officials had previously given the figure for dead at the Yubileynaya mine as 28.

Methane exploded in the mine at 0910hrs IST.
