Rain clouds Kolkatans

Kolkata, May 24 (UNI) Kolkatans today hoped for some refreshing showers but the clouds eluded the city.

The maximum temperature recorded was 36.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature shot up two degrees above normal at 28.6 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 94 per cent also increased their miseries.

The Met office forecasts a partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery showers in some areas.

The maximum temperature would be around 36 degrees Celsius, Met sources added.
