Rain at few places over Coastal Andhra

Hyderabad, May 24 (UNI) Rain occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh while isolated showers lashed Telangana and Rayalaseema.

The chief amount of rainfall recorded in cm at Holagunda and Repalle was five each while at Chittoor, Kavali, Avanigadda, Eluru, Srungavarapukota and Tandur, was four each.

Maximum temperatures fell significantly at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little over Telangana and Rayalaseema. It was above normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, many places over Telangana and a few places over Rayalaseema.

The maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius was recorded at Rentachintala.
