Property attachment order in Tata executive murder case

Patna, May 24 (UNI) The sensational murder case of a senior Tata executive here on May 20 took a new turn today when a local court issued an order for property attachment and non- bailable arrest warrant against accused Anil Singh.

The order was passed by Chief Judicial Magistrate Sushma Sinha on a prayer made by the city police through an affidivited petition.

According to the charges, Lucknow-based Tata Motors executive Suresh Kumar Mahto was flung out from the 8th floor residence of the judicial member of Central Administrative Tribunal(CAT) Sadhna Srivastava on Sunday when some ornaments and cash were also looted from her house.

Of the two alleged assailants, one Pawan Singh was arrested on the spot, while the other Anil Singh escaped. Later police also arrested Anil Singh's father, a dismissed constable, and three other family members.

The horrifying murder of Mr Mahto had rocked the state.
