One dead, 12 injured in mishap

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, May 24 (UNI) One person died on the spot and 12 others were injured today when the jeep in which they were travelling turned turtle near Kagzipura, about 20 km from here.

The injured have been admitted to the government medical college and hospital.

The jeep was taking Ranjangaon Shenpunji-based private factory workers to Khultabad, when the driver lost control of the vehicle that skidded into the roadside ditch, resulting in the death of a youth identified as Balu.

The workers were on their way home after the nightshift.
