"Whether we will go for a Dalit candidate or a non-Dalit will be decided then," she had told a private TV channel.

According to sources, Ms Maywati is expected to call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on May 26.

Though any meetings with other central figures or leaders of any political parties are not scheduled, sources have not ruled out such visits.
