Five die in head-on collision

Purulia, May 24 (UNI) Five people died when the vehicle they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck, 35 kms from here, early this morning.

The deceased were passengers of a three-wheeler auto rickshaw, which collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The incident occurred at a place between Raghunathpur and Anara near here.

The truck driver was immediately caught by some of the by-standers, who later handed him over to the police.
