CCL engineer nabbed by CBI

Ranchi, May 23 (UNI) The CBI today nabbed a Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) engineer while he was accepting a graft of Rs 10,000 here.

CBI sources told UNI that Anil Kumar, superintending engineer of Rohini project of CCL at north Karnpura in Kheleri in the Ranchi district had demanded the money from a contractor against passage of one of his bills of Rs 2 lakh.

Acting on the complaint of the contractor, the CBI team nabbed the CCL engineer with the cash.
