Bihar: BSEB engineer, clerk held for accepting bribe
Patna, May 24: Special vigilance judge S K Panwar remanded a Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) assistant engineer and a clerk to judicial custody in a bribery case.
The accused Purushottam Mishra and Harshbardhan Upadhayay were produced before the judge yesterday and were sent to judicial custody till June 5.
Both were arrested by vigilance sleuths red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 1.28 lakh from one promoter for providing electric connections to a multi-storied building here.
