BEST removes encroachments from bus stops

Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) General Manager Uttam Khobragade, along with BEST and BMC officials, visited bus stops near Citylight cinema at Mahim to oversee removal of encroachments at these stops.

Mr Khobragade had received complaints from the public about the encroachments.

He personally supervised the operations to remove the encroachments today. Eight fruit vendors were asked to vacate the place and their wares were confiscated.

The BEST General Manager next visited the bus stops near the Plaza Cinema in Dadar and personally saw to it that the encroachments here too were removed.
