Another scorching hot day in Delhi
New Delhi, May 24 (UNI) Delhi continued to brave scorching summer heat with the maximum temperature recording at 41.1 degree Celsius.
The minimum registered at 26.6 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, the met department.
As the mercury soared slightly from yesterday's 41 degrees, people preferred to stay indoors during the day, particularly the afternoon hours.
The temperature is likely to rise further to 42 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
The Met department has forecast a mainly clear sky with isolated duststorm or thunderstorm in some areas.
In North West India rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places over Jammu and Kashmir and isolated places over Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
