Administrative reshuffle in UP

Lucknow, May 24 (UNI) In an administrative shake-up, the Mayawati-led Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred one Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and 68 Provincial Administrative Services (PCS) officers in the state.

Ramendra Nath Tripathi, director minerals and mines has been shifted as special secretary, finance.

Besides, three IAS officers have been given additional charge.

Archana Agarwal, secretary industry, executive director Udyog Bandhu and director DASP, Lucknow has been given additional charge of secretary coordination; Manoj Kumar, secretary Basic Education has been given additional charge of secretary technical education; and Chandra Prakash, secretary Panchayati Raj has been given additional charge of secretary minorities welfare.

Besides, three IAS officers on waiting list Shankar Lal Pandey, Santosh Kumar Srivastava and Radhakrishna Singh have been made special secretary (excise), special secretary (tax and registration) and special secretary (housing and urban planning) respectively.
