'145 miners rescued in Siberia mine blast'

Moscow, May 24: Authorities have rescued 145 miners after an explosion ripped through a Siberian coal mine today, the regional administration press service said, leaving 72 people still in the mine.

''The last data shows there are 145 miners who have been led out of the mine,'' a spokesman said.
