Rajnath condemns Gorakhpur blasts
New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) The BJP today strongly condemned the Gorakhpur serial blasts and held the soft attitude of the UPA towards terror as a factor responsible for the growing attacks.
BJP President Rajnath Singh, asking the Centre to come out with a strong anti-terror law, said the state government should take sternest measures to identify and punish the culprits.
The UPA, by scrapping the POTA without any credible alternative legislation, had allowed proliferation of violence across the country, he lamented.
This is a dangerous trend which needs to be reversed, he said.
