Rainfall occur at isolated places in the State
Bangalore, May 23 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations recorded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Gauribidanur, Chintamani, Kunigal 2 each, Ilkal, Kottur 1 each.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over South Interior Karnataka, above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were above normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka.
Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 42.5 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, Belgaum district of North Interior Karnataka and Kolar, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Mysore, Tumkur Mandya, Chamarajanagar districts of South Interior Karnataka.
Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night in some areas. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degree celsius.
