Punjab govt for single window system for Service Industry

Chandigarh, May 23 (UNI) The Punjab Government would extend full cooperation to institute of tourism and future Management director Dr Gulshan Sharma helping him clear all projects of the Service Industry through single window system This assurance was given by state Industries and Commerce Minister Manoranjan Kalia to Mr Gulshan Sharma, at a meeting here today.

Dr Sharma explained his viewpoint on various aspects and scope for the rapid growing Service Industry.

Giving a presentation, Dr Sharma said Service Industry helps in providing employment opportunities in the field of travel and tourism, hospitality, aviation, transportation, telecommunication, banking and insurance, health care and education.

Showing keen interest in the presentation. Mr Kalia asked Dr Sharma to submit a Draft Policy of the Service Industry which he would consider.
