Passenger held with injection vials

Chennai, May 23 (UNI) A Dubai-bound passenger, hailing from Cuddapah in Andhra Pradesh, was arrested at the International Airport here today for carrying 19 injection vials of 250mg each.

Airport and police sources said the syringes were concealed in a pickle bottle by a passenger Sheikh Qadir and the same were seized when he was about to board a Kuwait Airways flight.

He was arrested under Aircraft Act 12 (b) and under IPC sections for concealing the vials and remanded to judicial custody.

Later, investigations revealed that the vials contained some pain killer medicines.
