Minister's son, woman consumed poison

Udaipur, May 23 (UNI) The condition of Rajasthan Minister of State for Health Bhawani Joshi's son Bharat Joshi, who had allegedly consumed poison along with a married woman in Banswara last night, was now stated to be out of danger.

Bharat (24), who has been adopted by the minister's elder brother Vasudev Joshi had reportedly consumed poison with a married woman Bhanupriya in Banswara last night.

The duo was shifted to the ICU ward of the Maharana Bhupal Singh Hospital here from Mahatma Gandhi Hospital Banswar early this morning where the condition of the two was now out of danger, hospital Medial Superintendent S K Kaushik said.

Later Mr Bharat was referred to Jaipur on request from the family, he said.

Dr Kaushik said the nature of poison consumed by the duo would be known only after the reports of pathological tests of the patients.

Bharat got married about a year ago and was allegedly having affair with Bhanupriya who has been married to someone else.
