Mayawati takes over Information Department

Lucknow, May 23 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati took over an additional portfolio of Information Department here tonight.

Till now, the Information Department was under the control of Cabinet Minister Sudhir Goel.

The CM allocated the Science and Technology Department, so far retained by her, to Mr Goel.

Ram Achal Rajbhar, who was administered oath for the post of a Cabinet Minister by Governor T V Rajeswar today, has been given the responsibility of the Transport Department. Till now, Mr Rajbhar had an independent charge.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) Anand Sen Yadav, who too was administered oath this morning, has got the responsibility of the Food Processing Department.
