Pathanamthitta, Kerala, May 23 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party Kerala unit president K Muraleedharan today accused the Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government of behaving in a partisan manner by showing favour to ''encroachers'' belonging to the constituents of the ruling coalition.

Talking to newspersons here, he alleged that while the resort demolition spree was on, the structures on illegal land, owned by ruling partymen, remained untouched.

The name of Munnar MLA Rajendran was excluded from the list of encroachers at the behest of CPI(M), he said adding that all encroachers be brought to book immediately and a judical probe should be ordered into the matter.

He asked why the government was averse to take legal steps like registering cases against the encroachers.

Alleged that the anti-resort drive at Munnar was merely an eye-wash, Mr Muraleedharan said it was aimed at camouflaging the failures of the LDF government during the last one year.

He lamented that court directive to register case against Health Minister P K Sreemathi in SAT hospital episode was disobeyed by the police.
