Gir lion found dead

Junagadh, May 23 (UNI) A lion was found dead in the Gir forests at Bhaniya near Panighoda in Dharia area of Amreli district.

Forest department officials said the lion, aged four years, had died of an illness yesterday and the carcass was sent for postmortem at Sasan.
