Ex-TDP MP dead
Visakhapatnam, May 23 (UNI) Veteran Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Leader and Former MP P Appala Narasimham (81) passed away at a corporate hospital in the city today after prolonged illness.
Hospital sources said he was admitted to the hospital three weeks ago with kidney and lung complications. His condition worsened in the last 15 days.
Mr Narasimham suffered a massive heart attack and was put on the ventilator. His only son P Ganababu was a former MLA.
Starting his political career as a panchayat president in 1970, he joined the TDP and soon became a close confidant of Party Founder-Leader N T Rama Rao.
