Encounter with naxals in MP

Balaghat, MP, May 23 (UNI) An encounter took place between police and naxals early today near this district's Brahmanigaon, 50 km from here.

No casualties were reported.

''A police team was sent to the area after information that rebel dalam members were spotted in the Brahmani forest. The encounter ensued in the vicinity of Laha Hill,'' said Inspector-General Anvesh Mangalam.

CRPF personnel were rushed to the spot.
