Dera ready for dialogue to resolve crisis

Sirsa, May 23 (UNI) The Dera Sacha Sauda today said it was ready for a dialogue to resolve the on-going strife with the Sikh clergy.

''We are ready for a dialogue on the issue provided Sikh clergy gives positive signs in this regard,'' Dera spokesman Aditya Insan told reporters here tonight.

He, however, regretted the reported statement of SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar that he had nothing to do with the peace negotiations being held by an all religion delegation led by social activist Swami Agnivesh with the dera.

''The other party has to validate the peace process so that we can move forward in this regard'', the spokesman said.
