Bharat Earth Movers Ltd forms joint venture

Mumbai, May 23: Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) today said that a joint venture (JV) has been incorporated jointly by the company (BEML) and M/s Midwest Granite P Ltd company named M/s BEML Midwest Limited to carry on the business of mining activity.

The JV company will be launched tomorrow at Hyderabad, the BEML said in a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Meanwhile, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on May 28, 2007, to consider and take on record the Red Herring Prospectus as cleared by SEBI for its approval and signature of all the Directors for submission to Registrar of Companies for its clearance.
