6 IAS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow, May 23 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government this afternoon transferred six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state.

D Deepti Vilas, who was awaiting transfer, was given the charge of principal secretary, Finance.

K L Meena, secretary, Medical Education (Unani, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic) takes over as secretary, Medical Education Department.

Navneet Kumar Sehgal, secretary (CM) was given an additional charge of Resident Commissioner, UP at New Delhi.

Narendra Bhushan also was given an additional charge of Additional Director, SGPGI, UP, besides special secretary and staff officer principal secretary.

Charanjeet Singh Bakshi, special secretary, Basic Education is special secretary, PWD.

Besides, Shashi Prakash Goel, chief staff officer, cabinet secretary and project director, AIDS Control Society, Lucknow was given an additional charge as secretary, confidential department.
