Youth killed out of envy

Mahoba, May 22 (UNI) Celebration had a mourning end when a youth was shot dead in Srinagar area of this district.

In a 'Tilak ceremony' of Deepu, son of Rajjan Ahirwar, late last night Sabha Singh Yadav released his trigger on Raju, killing him on the spot, police said today.

Meanwhile, the culprit fled the scene.

Relatives of the deceased alleged Yadav was envious of Raju after the Panchayat elections.

A case had been registered and search is on to nab the culprit.
