Xerox launches ECM Software
Hyderabad, May 22 (UNI) Launching its new Electronic Content Management (ECM) Software, documentation major Xerox today said it plans to double the head count of its Xerox Global Services (XGS) in South India from 120 to 250 by this year.
Addressing a press conference here, XGS Director Ravi Venkataraman said its new ECM software - Xerox DocuShare 5.0 - targetted medium and large enterprises.
He said with its comprehensive line of XGS offering - Business Process Services, Xerox Office Services, DOCS and Free Flow Web Services, the company aims to "add value to our client businesses and enable them to focus on their core expertise by outsourcing the entire document processes." He said his company will focus on ITES at Bangalore and Hyderabad and manufacturing sector at Chennai to strengthen its consulting line of business, it would hire a team of six dedicated experts to grow the XGS business in these identified verticals.
"Alongside, we will roll out an educational outreach campaign to raise awareness about the benefits of document management outsourcing and engage with 40 Chief Financial Officers of large enterprises in South India by end of this year," he said.
Along with banking, financial services and insurance, the XGS plans to focus on pharma and healthcare and the group claims that its comprehensive solution would provide 15-30% saving for its clients, he said.
