'Southern Splendour Express' soon from Hyderabad: Minister
Tirupati, May 22 (UNI) 'Southern Splendour Express', a train connecting all spiritual and tourist locations in South India, would be launched from Hyderabad shortly, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has said.
Inaugurating a theme park here last night, the Minister said the train would cover all spiritual and tourist spots in South India within one-week.
He said Andhra pradesh would see a huge investment of Rs 1500 crore in tourism sector as more private players were showing interest in the sector.
To encourage the investors, the state government would provide concessions in power tariff, sales tax and commercial taxes, he added.
