Restriction on presence of political functionaries after campaigning

Shimla, May 22 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Manish Nanda today said once campaign period is over for the June two Hamirpur Constituency no campaigning would be allowed within the constituency.

Besides political functionaries, party workers, processions, and others, who have been brought from outside the constituency and who were not voters of the constituency would be allowed in the constituency, she said in a release here.

Ms Nanda said after the campaign period is over, the district election administration and police would ensure that all such functionaries leave the constituency immediately.
