Rajkot, May 22 (UNI) Mobs protesting the murder and rape of a teen-aged girl of Koli community in Junagadh, set ablaze three buses of the state transport corporation in Rajkot district today.

According to police, a bus was set ablaze near Kuwadwa village on Rajkot-Ahmedabad Highway, 20 kms from here, while another two buses were set ablaze near Tramba village on Rajkot-Bhavnagar Highway, 20 kms from here.

''No injury of passengers or drivers of the buses was reported as they were asked to alight,'' a police officer told UNI.

Meanwhile, five members of the Koli community continued with their indefinite fast in front of the collectorate here, demanding immediate arrest of two main accused, who were involved in the rape and killing of the girl on Datar Mountain on May 13.

President of the Koli Community of Rajkot city Virjibhai Sanura, and four other members of the community are on a fast following the inability of the Junagadh police in arresting the two accused.
